Greetings Brothers and Sisters!

We are excited to inform you that Blessed Hope Chapel will be reopening Sunday, May 31, 2020, with two Sunday morning services at 8:00AM & 10:00AM (which will remain in affect until further notice) and Wednesdays at 7:00PM.

In light of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the government has issued some very strict guidelines to which we must adhere. As a result, our church experience will be very different for at least the next few weeks. Please keep in mind that BHC is not voluntarily imposing any of these restrictions/limitations, rather, we are complying with what is being required of us in order to keep our doors open.

***PLEASE…WE NEED YOUR RESPONSE ASAP***

Seating Limitations: Due to the 6 ft. social distancing mandate and the restrictions with respect to the number of congregants permitted to attend each service, we would like to know if you plan to attend church on Sunday, and if so, please let us know the following:

– 8:00AM Service and how many from your household plan to attend?
– 10:00AM Service and how many from your household plan to attend?

Please send your answer to Mary Drinkhall at mary@blessedhopechapel.org

NOTE: These are NOT reservations. This will simply give us a general idea of how many to expect so we can better serve everyone’s needs.

HERE IS WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

At the Front Door: Please expect to form a line leading into the single door (designated as an “Entrance” only). We kindly ask that you adhere to 6 foot distancing while in line. Once you reach the front door, you will be greeted by a deacon/usher who will then guide you through the seating process.

*Note: If any of you have physical limitations which make it difficult to stand for long periods of time, please move to the font of the line and let one of the staff members know so that you can be seated promptly.

Additionally, everyone entering the building will be screened for symptoms and/or exposure to COVID-19. Furthermore, we will have a non-contact thermometer available in the event it is needed.

Seating: Deacons/Ushers will escort every person/household to a seat. They will begin to fill in the spots at the front of the church and work their way back. We have rearranged the chairs in rows that provide for 6’ distancing, and we will ensure there is a 6’ space in between individuals/members of different households. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate those who desire to sit in their favorite seats/sections. We greatly appreciate everyone’s understanding and cooperation.

Face Masks: Face masks are not mandatory (per Ventura County), but encouraged. However, those serving (i.e., deacons/ushers, etc.) will be required to wear face masks.

Children: Unfortunately, per the state guidelines, we are not able to provide neither children’s church nor nursery services at this time. Additionally, children must remain in their parents’ care at all times and not be allowed to roam unattended. We sincerely apologize for this huge inconvenience!

Social Distancing: While inside the church building, we ask that everyone do their best to maintain 6 foot distancing from individuals who are from different households. This includes standing a minimum of 6 feet apart at all times, no hugging, no shaking hands, etc.

Communion: There will be no communion this week. Communion will resume once we receive the individual self-contained communion packets that have been ordered.
